The Scheduling Coordinator will utilize his/her experience and be responsible for all scheduling to cover private duty cases, home health aides, personal care aides and companions through a computerized scheduling system. In addition, he/she will deliver outstanding customer service and should have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees and clients, both on the phone and in-person. Responsibilities:
- Phone support (both fielding incoming calls and placing calls to staff and/or clients)
- Work directly with coordinators and other personnel from managed care companies and other contracts
- Enter aides' schedules into database
- Schedule shifts and communicate directly with home health aides and other field staff
- Oversee the services provided to a caseload of clients on a daily basis
- Interface with clients, families, and employees to ensure quality service is delivered
- Be responsible for day-to-day staffing of cases, problem solving, ensuring customer satisfaction, payroll/billing
Education & Experience
Formal Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
