(Some Saturdays a possibility)
Job Summary
Lakeview Rock Products is seeking to add to our Scale House Clerk team in our North Salt Lake, UT location.
- Greet customers entering pit area and collect appropriate information to properly bill customers
- Process card and handle cash payments (will work closely with our accounting department)
- Give clear directions, handle questions and or direct to appropriate area/person.
- Answer all inbound calls
- Operate material scales
- Maintain personal work area
- Ensure incoming material is manifested and not prohibited or unsafe
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Have the ability to work in an efficient manner with little supervision
- Have great attention to detail
- Be safety conscious and follow safety protocol
- Be comfortable operating a standard computer with the ability to learn new programs and software
- Be well organized
- Have basic math skills
- Have a desire to learn
Experience
No experience necessary. Lakeview Rock will provide paid training to succeed in this role.
