Saw Operator 1st and 2nd shift Job at Quality Manufacturing Corporation
Quality Manufacturing Corporation, a fast-paced metal fabrication company, is looking to hire saw operators on 1st and 2nd shift. Saw Operators are responsible for operating a variety CNC saws to cut metal products to our customers' requirements. Saw Operators are very detailed oriented and perform their duties with a strong focus on safety.
Education, Experience, Skills:
- Technical Training beyond high school or equivalent on the job training preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience operating numerical controlled machines preferred
- Able to read and interpret prints
- Able to perform basic measurements accurately
- Ability to understand and apply internal and customer tolerances
Duties and Knowledge:
- Set up CNC and manual saws
- Understand and utilize all tooling and equipment associated with a saw
- Operate saws to efficiently produce parts to print specifications
- Read and interpret prints to verify that parts produced meet print requirements and tolerances
- Perform preventive maintenance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires repetitive motion
- Able to bend and work at all levels
- Able to work in a high temperature environment
- Able to work 10 to 12 hours in a physically demanding position
