Sandwich Maker Job at Genesis Hospitality
Job Summary:
The Sandwich Maker/Cook will assist in the food preparation as well to provide an outstanding customer service to the clientele of our bakery. Candidate must be willing to work weekdays/nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare for the day with any necessary food items that are needed
- Cook/create food items to order in the patisserie
- Store and properly handle raw or prepared foods and non-food supplies.
- Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition.
- Handle food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines.
- Follow proper food handling techniques and coordinates the use of time, material and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene.
- Comply with department’s dress code.
- Follow safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the supervisor.
- Empty trash containers as required.
- Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as required.
