Sandwich Artist/Cashier Job at Subway
The Sandwich Maker’s main task is to prepare sandwiches to meet customer demand. You will use a variety of equipment to create delicious sandwiches, including a sandwich station, grill, fryer and slicer. Sandwich Maker are expected to be able to supply the customer with food in a short period of time, providing them with the best possible experience. Stability and speed are essential due to a busy shift schedule. The Sandwich Maker will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards. Sandwich Maker responsibilities include assembling sandwiches, prepping meats/veggies/sauces, and baking bread and cookies. You must be able to work quickly without compromising on food quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Keep ingredients at required temperature.
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches at the customer's request.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness through proper food handling and personal hygiene.
- Follow production schedule to meet customer demand.
- Maintain product quality standards.
- Communicate with other employees to coordinate workflow and resolve any problems .
- Follow specific food handling regulations, like those for storing, cooking, cooling, re-heating etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.74 per hour
