Position: Sales Assistant / Salon Receptionist
Position Overview:
We are looking for a hard-working & energetic professional to join our team! The perfect candidate must have very strong customer service and communication skills along with the ability to multi-task and keep a positive salon environment.
This position is responsible for interacting with customers. Main responsibilities will be greeting customers, processing transactions (card & cash payments), fielding questions, answering calls, and handling appointments. This positions is also responsible for sales of memberships, products, and upselling appointments.

Core Responsibilities:
- A willingness to learn.
- Greeting clients and explaining what their service entails.
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Answering questions about our services.
- Booking appointments.
- Scheduling & follow-up with clients.
- Appointment confirmations and follow-up experience calls
- Handle communication between clients and service providers to ensure optimum service.
- Maintaining cleanliness around the salon.
What You’ve Got:
- A passion for the beauty industry (esthetics/cosmetic experience preferred, but not required).
- An interest in growing with SugaringNYC.
- A positive attitude that cultivates a great work environment for all.
- Good computer skills.
- Proven track record and ability in sales and upselling!
- Excellent communication skills.

Salary:
- Hourly.
- Commissions.
