Sales Manager

Summary:

Big Tex Trailers Manufacturing builds and distributes the number one selling open steel trailer through a nationwide dealer network within the US and Canada. As the Big Tex Trailers Sales Manager, you will serve as the primary sales leader for the inside dealer sales team. The inside dealer sales team is the primary touch point for our dealer network. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the overall business sales pipeline management, team coaching to drive sales excellence, and administration to grow existing accounts over time by expanding dealer relationships.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Grow sales and meet objectives through creating a performance driven team
  • Ability to work across business units, sales and operations and navigate in a matrixed organization.
  • Ability to understand plan, set goals and drive team for results
  • Prepare sales forecasts.
  • Ability to discuss product functionality, product technology and counter questions regarding competitive solutions.
  • Ongoing sales training and coaching within the dealer sales team.


Required Experience-Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
  • 8+ years of sales experience
  • 3+ years of equipment or related experience
  • Detail orientated, customer focus, information seeking, willingness to learn, enjoy fast paced team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  • Preferred inside or outside sales and account management experience in a B2B environment
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experienced in using SalesForce CRM or other CRM systems
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15%

  • Talk and hear, read, write understand and communicate by telephone
  • The employee is frequently required to use hands for typing, 10-key operation, telephone dialing. Regular use of hands for feeling, grasping or manipulating objects, tools, or controls. Occasional using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
