We are currently looking for a Director of Sales for our Metro CA Area locations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Fosters close working relationships with US LBM Sales and Marketing team along with its vendors, suppliers, and customers.
  • Oversees the Divisions sales management operations.
  • Designs, implements, and manages annual sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes in support of organization strategy and objectives.
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Recommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales organization.
  • Provides leadership to the sales organization, and counsel to the Division president in implementing sales objectives that appropriately reflect the Division’s business goals.
  • Equitably assign sales force quotas and ensuring the Division’s financial objectives are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources through the quota program.
  • Accountable for the timely assignment of all sales organization objectives.

10. Partners with leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement.

11. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch.

12. Fosters the Division’s continuous process improvement.

13. Prioritizes investments in enabling technologies in support of sales organization productivity.

14. Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives.

15. Adheres to established safety rules and regulations and follows all safety procedures; maintain a safe environment.

16. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Minimum education- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience required- 5 years + with a history of progressive leadership responsibilities related to sales, business development, strategic planning and execution, and continuous process improvement preferred.
  • Other- Knowledge of sales best practices; ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels and demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Lead and direct the work of others by demonstrating leadership, team management, and employee development skills. Excellent analytical, abstract reasoning and organizational skills as well as excellent written and oral and presentation communication skills. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Physical demands include lift up to 25 lbs. on a random basis, standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
