About Us:

Local 130 Seafood, founded in 2014, is growing a sales team, located in Long Branch NJ 07712 is a seafood company committed to sourcing and promoting American seafood to its customers across the State of NJ, and the USA. Local 130 is a full service distribution, wholesale and retail business, which has forged partnerships with American docks across the USA to deliver the best and freshest American caught seafood. We are looking for a restaurant specialist with a established book of business. We want someone that can come in and hit the ground running. Must have food experience but would prefer seafood experience.

Position Role:

Currently, Local 130 operates a distribution and processing house and a retail storefront in Asbury Park NJ. The role of Sales is as follows:

• Manage up to 50 restaurant accounts in designated territories to drive sales, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with accounts DAILY (chefs, GM, and purchasing) via text, phone, mail chimp and social media on a daily basis communicating product offering and pricing and any specials.
• Achieve quarterly existing restaurant quarterly sales goals.
• Achieve new account acquisition quarterly goals.
• Actively utilize Local 130 CRM to manage all aspects of sales.
• Input daily orders into system for fulfillment.
• Represent Local 130 Seafood brand, mission and its product on a consistently positive and energetic basis to all of its customers.
• Drive and maintain daily social media presence in conjunction with ownership.
• Understand key attributes of all products being sold including; origin, catch method, seasonality, sustainability, taste, etc.
• Effectively liaise with purchasing daily to communicate inventory needs and customers preferences.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in seafood and/or the food industry.
• Can do attitude and willingness to be part of a team.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Social media experience – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
• Willingness to learn about and become well versed in all aspects of seafood.
• Legally able to work in the USA.
• Strict adherence to Local 130 Drug Free work policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
