Your responsibilities

We are currently seeking a Safety Trainer on the 3rd shift in our Livermore CA location. This individual will be responsible for teaching and cultivating a safe working environment: Shift Hours 9PM to 5:30AM - Pay Rate 21.00-24.00 -Training for PIT program -Daily waste walks identifying any compliance or safety issues and helping to put action in place to resolve issues. -Review Dock Inspection reports, gather documents and create and maintain folders - Assist with Incident Investigations - Provide operation support to floor staff for all safety regulations and issues. - Maintain Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Safety compliance reports. - Assist in any other duties to support the operation, as requested by supervisor or team lead - Maintain timely, effective, and professional communications with all internal and external customers and suppliers -Train others as required -Auditing -Attend start of shift meetings -Maintain training records -Maintaining site safety documents ie inspections, meeting minutes -Assist with Safety Meetings and ensure meeting notes are gathered. -Help develop and provide Weekly safety talks SIR and reporting The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job. Your profile

• High school diploma/GED • Certified Trainer for PIT and Company Policies and safety requirements • History of consistent dependable attendance • 2 years of warehousing experience – especially in metals industry • Strong Computer skills for Excel, Powepoint and Word • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs • Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills • Previous forklift experience • Strong Communication Skills • Safety Mindset and strong leadership skills • Ability to travel to other tkSCS Tesla sites for supporting same position and to work various shifts • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and perform bending, twisting, squatting, reaching and grasping motions Preferred Experience: -Incident Investigation Experience -OSHA Knowledge - Auditing Experience
