Safety Ambassador Job at Ply Gem Windows & Doors
JOB DETAILS
Base Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd Shift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively promote health and safety programs at the associate level
- Assist in injury prevention programs
- Maintain safety records and track incident corrective actions to completion
- Assist in incident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective action development and follow-up for completion of action items
- Assist in conducting training for associates
- Complete safety audits
- Complete safety assessments
- Must be able to attend and complete 30-hour OSHA training
- Must be able to attend Train the Trainer Certification for Forklifts
- Performs duty as assigned
- Transport associates to the Emergency Room if needed
- Minimum of one-year experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous safety experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Must have a passion to learn about safety- Strong belief in Safety
