Safety Administrator Job at BGDC Distribution
Summary:
Administrate safety training, programs, and procedures. Assure compliance for all safety training and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Set up new hire classes
- Enter paperwork for MVR, CDL, medical and self-certifications
- Set up appointments for new hire meetings at 30, 60, and 90 days
- Ensure 3rd party accident paperwork is entered into tracking system
- Enter all accidents in AtlasNet system
- File accident reports
- Assign unassigned drivers to the correct video
- Enter cost of accidents/incidents in AtlasNet
- Assign training using Compli if an accident or incident occurs
- Answer safety emails
- Remove inactive drivers from Compli system
- Ensure MVRs, CDLs, Medical Cards and self-certifications are in compliance
- Utilize People Net UDE clear unassigned or zero-mile events
- Review driver’s miles and ensure miles are correctly assigned
- Assign drivers and remove inactive drivers using People Net UDE system
- Compile and distribute People Net reports, uncertified logs, and HOS reports
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent additional experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills.
- Multi-task oriented
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; hear or talk: use close vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; and type and manipulate controls. Employee is occasionally required to use distance vision, stand, kneel or crouch and lift up to 10 lbs.
