II. MISSION

The Retirement Plan Advisor at ProVise Management Group is an integral part of our team, serving as a connection between our institutional clients and our firm. This great communicator, influencer, and enthusiastic person will support the vision, values, positive culture, and team spirit.

The Retirement Plan Advisor is an experienced advisor whose is focused on supporting our clients and engagement with our Retirement Plan sponsors. Within this role, you will develop long-lasting client relationships and educate many of their valued employees.

The Retirement Plan Advisor will conduct client meetings and be able to lead our clients through our Fiduciary process. This includes assessing their objectives and then discussing their plan design, plan sponsor and participant engagements, and conducting on-going plan analysis. They will oversee the coordination of the Retirement Plan engagement process and work closely with all personnel involved in for support and implementation.

III. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan Sponsor/ Plan Participant Engagement

· Coordinating, scheduling, and presenting at education and trustee meetings

· Develop and assemble 401(K) education meeting presentations using Powerpoint

· Preparing paperwork for retirement plan reviews and plan conversions

· Collaborate with the team to maintain investments within a fund-tracking system

· Prepare and deliver quarterly monitoring reports to retirement plan sponsor clients

· Answer retirement plan participant phone and email inquiries

· Coordinate with plan record-keepers, third-party administrators, and other vendors

· Make investment suggestions to retirement plan participants based on their individual goals and objectives

· Provide employee enrollment and education meetings

· Provide Marketing RPS through various channels (print, digital, etc.)

· Manage content delivery through Provise’s marketing/communications process through website, social media, podcast, etc.

· Manages retirement software applications

· Follows and subscribe to industry-specific research and keep up on trends

Compliance

· Complies with all regulatory requirements

IV. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Experience and Education:

· Professional Retirement Plan Designation such as Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) or Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) is preferred.

· Series 65 or 66 required

· CFP® designation or willingness to obtain is strongly preferred

· A basic understanding of corporate retirement plans

· An understanding of investments and financial planning

· Previous experience providing retirement plan consulting in either a brokerage firm, investment advisory practice, or other financial institution

· Strong educational background or equivalent professional experience conducive to providing advice and educating/servicing retirement plan participants

Skills and Knowledge:

· Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required

· Familiarity with Investment Policy Statements, Investment Review Checklists, and basic aspects of ERISA a plus

· Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, and can deal with confidential information

· Group presentation skills

· Attention to detail and self-motivated

· Ability to deal with stress in an ever-changing investment market and financial services industry

· Excellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
