Job Summary:
To oversee the operation of a retail store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandise, inventory, expense control, human resources management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.

Job Duties:

  • Ensure that each customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a customer friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
  • Analyze and measure business trends and reports-; develop and implement plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed goals and objectives.
  • Control inventory, expenses, and payroll.
  • Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise displays; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
  • Continually evaluate and react to performance issues.
  • Responsible for staffing, directing and monitoring training and development for all store personnel.
  • Ensure proper facilities maintenance.
  • Any other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system.
  • Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
  • Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. (We are closed Sundays!)

Job Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Minimum of three years retail management experience.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
