RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Greet and interact with customers
  • Consult with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to merchandise
  • Demonstrate and explain merchandise, selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customers needs
  • Answers customers questions about merchandise and assists customers with purchase decisions
  • Accurately complete sales using the POS system according to established procedures
  • Process returns and exchanges
  • Organize and effectively merchandise items for sale
  • Stock and rotate product
  • Assist in keeping the store clean
  • Assemble and organize products and displays
  • Assist customers with loading and unloading products as needed
  • Utilize customer-focused selling skills, add-on selling, closing skills, and other sales generating skills
  • Perform other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Windows
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel frequently
  • Lift, carry and load 60 pounds (minimum) weight requirements
  • Proven track record of being dependable and reliable
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Commitment to excellence & high standards especially in terms of providing outstanding customer service

SCHEDULE

Part-time positions are typically scheduled for 16 - 32 hours per week (schedule may vary). Friday through Sunday. Open availability preferred.

Hours are flexible! We can schedule for 4-hour shifts or 8-hour shifts.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Dependent on experience; A wage will be discussed during the interview process.
