About us...
LEGOLAND Florida Resort is a 150-acre interactive theme park dedicated to families with children between the ages of 2 and 12. With more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions, and uniquely themed LEGOLAND Water Park, LEGOLAND Hotel, and LEGOLAND Beach Resort inspired by the LEGO and DUPLO brands, LEGOLAND is geared towards family fun!

About the role...
Develops and purchases high quality range of Retail products for LEGOLAND Florida and Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida, in order to achieve and increase retail gross revenue, profit, and spend per capita goals. Works with LEGO® and Hasbro sources, manages delivery of Retail products in coordination with Senior Purchasing Manager. Works within budget on product cost, and influences stock holdings. Controls and manages the purchase, intake and distribution of merchandise.

What you’ll be doing...
Develop and source ‘On Brand, On Target’ stock on a timely basis for each attraction.
Constantly innovate and improve product development.
Ensure a commercially viable product range at each attraction.
Develop products that meet LEGO, Hasbro and Merlin Entertainments Product Safety Policy
Carry out weekly product performance reviews, report findings and follow up.
Develop a constant stream of product innovation for all categories in addition to the core range, to enhance the portfolio and drive attraction sales.
Deliver range plan allocation of options and stockholding.
Communicate product information and knowledge to attractions.
Inputs and maintains the accuracy of current inventory systems.
Serves as an active member of the retail management team.
Trains and develops team members in product knowledge, visual merchandising, and systems training.

Who we’re looking for...
5 years of buying experience within a quality branded product environment. Requires competence in managing product quality and supplier ethical assurance. Knowledge of financial budgets is preferred. Strong negotiating skills are necessary to critically evaluate merchandising and purchasing decisions, including cost, quantity, and quality, and to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to plan effectively, identify and organize clear goals and targets for oneself and present information clearly and concisely. Able to multi task in a fast paced environment.
Requires a dedication to excellence in customer service, merchandising and sales. Strong guest service, interpersonal skills are required.
