Restaurant Manager

We are looking for an energetic, talented, driven, experienced Restaurant Manager who is passionate about food and pleasing guests through AMAZING meals and dining experiences who will lead all aspects of our business.

Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards. We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure your restaurant runs smoothly and guests have pleasant dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to guest complaints
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Train new and current staff on proper guest service practices
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven work experience as a High Volume, Fine Dining or Upscale Casual Restaurant Manager or similar role
• Proven guest service experience as a manager
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform guests and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like OpenTable and Toast POS
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills
• BS degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus
