The Registered Respiratory Therapist RT will be delivering patient care at this community hospital. This hospital offers a wide range of services including emergency and trauma care, women’s services, cardiology, orthopedics, and pediatrics.
Reporting to the Manager Respiratory Therapy, the Registered Respiratory Therapist RT will serve with an outstanding team of Certified Respiratory Therapists and Registered Nurses. With the Manager and Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy, this RT will receive plenty of clinical support in the RT Department.
This is a great opportunity for a strong Registered Respiratory Therapist RT to move to a well-run and high quality department. The RT will work in a cutting edge unit. Collaborating with a skilled team of nurses and working closely with excellent doctors and technicians, this RT will find a unit that feels like a family.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist RT will serve an essential role in the Hospital, part of a team responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician’s orders, department policies, and procedures. The RT will incorporate evidence based practice into their care. The Respiratory Therapist will also be responsible for administering respiratory therapy treatments and understand the purpose and possible side effects associated with each treatment.
