Social Vocational Services Inc. has served individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities throughout California for over 35 years. SVS take pride in its dedicated staff and invites you to join our team.
We are currently seeking a Residential Support Specialist- Substitute working with 5-6 adults in a residential home setting. RSS – Residential Care staff is responsible for teaching and assisting adults with intellectual challenges in all aspects of their daily living to foster independence.
Duties include:
- Skills training both in the home and in a community setting
- Attending to personal care needs such as grooming, showering, monitoring and distribution of medications
- Assistance with food preparation and maintenance of the facility.
- The Residential Support Specialist Residential Care staff will complete paperwork to include data collection and progress notes.

This position fills in for other staff on vacation or other absences.
$15.50/Hour + Paid Sick Time
**Hiring bonus! $750 after your 60th day of full attendance.**

Requirements: Must pass a criminal background clearance and job related physical. Must have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record.
