Zuern Building Products is actively seeking a full time Residential Estimator at our Slinger location. Zuern Building Products is a family-owned and operated building material supplier and design company. We have five expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown. We take pride in our tradition of providing high quality building materials and valuable services to our customers. We are “Building on Service”.
The Residential Estimator performs detailed take-offs on various plans (new construction, remodels, additions and various commercial projects), size joists, beams, and headers with the aid of manufacturer’s software and creates floor joist layouts. Requirements include: mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, to make metric system conversions, exchange rates, and discount calculations, excellent communication and teamwork skills and the ability to read and understand blueprints.
