Research Assistant - Hepatology, Einstein Philadelphia Job at Jefferson - Philadelphia, PA

- Bachelor's level degree required
- Course work in a social, behavioral science, or public health preferred
- Some research experience in the past
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Working with and under the direction the Research Director and Principal Investigators
- Supporting, facilitating and coordinating the daily clinical trial activities and play a critical role in the conduct of the study
- Working with the sponsors in addition to research colleagues, and maintaining a good research enterprise
- The primary role is subject identification, recruitment, informed consent, and following up the standard protocol
- Data entry will be required as needed
- The clinical trials related to drug induced liver injury will be the prime focus
- There will be an opportunity to work on Liver Transplant research projects
- An ideal candidate will have some experience in clinical research and regulatory work
Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
