JOB TITLE: Rack Repair Technician I
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
TOTAL POSITIONS: 2 (1st Shift: 1 Position and 2nd Shift: 1 Position)
- 1st Shift, Monday-Friday (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
- 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday (2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.)
PAY:
- 1st Shift: $15.50 per hour
- 2nd Shift: $16.25 per hour (Includes Shift Differential)
Summary of Job Duties: The rack repairperson is required to have good knowledge of the use of both hand and power tools (saws, drills, rivet guns, etc.). They need to be able to look at our glass racks and identify if there are any repairs needed. After identifying the repairs required, they need to perform the repairs if it is something for which they are responsible. If it is not and needs more extensive repair, they need to have the racks moved to maintenance for evaluation. They must have good tool organization skills and must work neatly.

Minimum Requirements and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
1. High School diploma or GED.
2. High aptitude on understanding when using and safe use of both hand tools and power tools.
3. Team attitude.
4. Proper attitude of keep oneself safe and those around you.
5. Positive safety attitude.
6. Must be able to operate a variety of hand tools.
7. Use a pen/pencil to complete the documentation.
8. Must be able to memorize the names and sizes of all types of racks.
Cardinal Employees:
1. Zero disciplinary action in the last 6 months.
2. Zero attendance issues.
3. As applicable, in determining a final rate of pay for a current employee, a compensation calculation occurs accounting for length of current employment
