General Summary of Position:

The Relationship Development Associate sales role is a quota carrying position with revenue and commission emphasis on upselling data products nationally to our existing small to medium-sized clients. The RDA will be responsible for proactive upsell outreach to all assigned Granite accounts. The RDA is assigned a hundred plus account leads and tasked with introducing POTS Replacement + growth product opportunities to all, while understanding the technology goals and challenges in the short term as well as the long term. A strategic initiative by a customer to move to VoIP or adjust the WAN strategy does not happen without a Granite RDA knowing about it and competing for this revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily proactive outreach to all clients with effective messaging on all Granite’s growth products
  • Will be working alongside an SE, who will be working to scope out the solution requirements and gain the solution ‘win’.
  • Travel may be needed but is not required as part of the RDA job
  • RDA will need to attend all required training sessions initially and ongoing
  • Must know how to position and sell all the Granite products.
  • 100% enthusiastic adoption of Salesforce. Roadmap buildout for assigned accounts, contacts, diagrams, quotes, notes … all updated into Salesforce.

Responsible for and limited to their assigned accounts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Great Attitude & Self Motivated
  • A self-starter with the ability to make cold calls daily
  • Capable of learning new products and services
  • Team sales process with multiple ‘wins’ required with a customer
