We are looking for Therapists that enjoy and experieced working with individuals with Deveoplemtal Disabilites( CP, Autism, Muscular Dystrophy)

This position is in a natural environment e.g. home-based, day-care etc. hat provides services and programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. We have programs throughout Essex, Bergen, Hudson, Somerset, Middlesex County.

We seamlessly connect dedicated therapists to patients and provide quality therapy solutions that are personalized and accessible. Katura Health LLC treats all ages and diagnoses and is trusted by home care providers, physicians, rehabilitation facilities, and families.

PT/OT/SLP Responsibilities and Duties:

Communicate regularly with the care coordinator to accept and schedule new referrals.

Consult with patients to learn about their physical conditions and symptoms.

Diagnose movement dysfunction and develop a treatment plan.

Teach patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques.

Assist patients with the use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers.

Maintain patient records and keep track of goals and progress.

Advise the patient and family about in-home treatment options and exercises.

PT/OT/SLP Skills and Qualifications:

Must have a valid PT/ OT/ SLP license in the state of practice or must be eligible to apply.

Graduated from accredited Therapy program

Experience working in a clinical setting

Current CPR certification

Professional Liability insurance

Pass a Background and Drug Test

Current TB Test

Working Knowledge of personal computer and software applications.

PT Preferred Qualifications:

Outstanding interpersonal skills, consistent ability to demonstrate clinical excellence, strong desire to develop professionally.

Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.

1 year of experience working in an outpatient clinic

Previous home care experience is preferred.

  • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
