Registration Representative Job at Saint Peter's Healthcare System
Saint Peter's Physician Associates Internal Medicine on Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick are seeking a full time Registration Representative to join the team!
The Registration Representative interviews patients in a professional, confidential, and courteous manner in order to obtain necessary demographic and financial information, and enters data into the health information system.
Mon-Friday 9-5:30 pm
This includes:
- Identifies primary and secondary payers. Determines if services are in or out of network and alerts patients to cost differentials.
- Identifies and meets third-party payer requirements of immediate admission notification, precertification, referral or authorization inclusive of party payer requirements of immediate admission notification, precertification, referral or authorization
- Collects payment in full inclusive of co-payment and deposits.
- Prepares patient's chart.
- Communicates patient rights and responsibilities.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Medical Terminology, ICD10 coding, and CRT data entry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills
- Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
