AMI is seeking a full time Radiology RN to join the team in the Toms River office locations! This is a great opportunity to join a growing and innovative outpatient radiology practice.

Responsibilities of the RN include, but are not limited to:

• Assists the entire outpatient radiology team and multiple modalities in providing patient care throughout a variety of diagnostic tests and procedures;
• Performs office related tasks and projects to ensure the efficient, orderly and timely delivery of patient care;
• Ensures communication of patient status and results is provided to all involved members of the healthcare team;
• Demonstrates appropriate level of empathy, understanding and interest in the needs of all patients referred to AMI, and acts as a patient advocate and radiologist liaison; and
• Performs other duties as required and assigned.

This full time, 40 hour per week position includes a work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Coverage will be assigned in the AMI offices in Toms River on Route 37 West & Hooper Avenue. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

• 
  Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess a current RN license in the State of New Jersey;
• BLS & ACLS certifications required;
• Candidates must possess strong skills for IV therapy techniques;
• Should have a comprehensive understanding of medications to include potential contraindications and side effects;
• Candidate should have previous experience in identifying and understanding cardiac rhythms;
• Should possess the ability to identify, react and respond quickly to a variety of emergent patient situations;
• Strong computer skills and experience with EMR required;
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Candidates must be able to adapt to changing office situations while working independently.
