Job Summary

VNA of Albany is looking for compassionate and dedicated Admission Nurse for Full time position to join our clinical team.

Admission Nurse performs nursing services as directed by a licensed Physician in the care of the sick, the prevention of disease and the conservation of health to individuals and families; promotes coordination and effective management of patient care services rendered by an interdisciplinary team of workers. Provides direction and supervision of License Practical Nurses, Home Health Aides and Homemakers. Accepts additional responsibility dependent on previous nursing practice, preparation and competence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current NY State R.N. License
• A minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in medical-surgical/acute care
• Home Care experience desirable
