Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is known to receive prestigious accreditations and recognition in a multitude of specialty designations for excellence in medicine and healthcare, the hospital offers a full complement of services, including newly opened fitness and health institution, maternity department, cancer program, advanced primary stroke center and spine and joint program. The hospital is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a STEMI Receiving Center, as well as part of the Los Angeles County Disaster Resource Center (DRC) network.

Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is in search of Registered Nurses to fulfill the day shifts (7:00AM-7:30PM) or the evening shifts (7:00PM-7:30AM) for their Medical/Surgical units.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.

General Position Requirements:

• Current California RN license
• Current BLS provider card
• Current ACLS provider card for telemetry/monitored units
• Certified in field of specialty (PCCN) preferred
• MS 3 – Telemetry course required, Chemo Provider/Chemo Certification preferred

Education:

• Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year acute hospital experience
• Telemetry experience preferred
