Registered Nurse, Medical Oncology Simon 5 Job at Atlantic Health System
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Medical Oncology/Simon 5 Department at Morristown Medical Center to work 3 day per week, 7:00pm - 7:00am and every other weekend.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served
- Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families
- Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- BSN required
Minimum Experience:
- 3-4 years of Acute Care, Med/Surg experience strongly preferred
- Oncology interest
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
- BLS required
- Oncology speciality certification preferred
Qualifications:
- Must be interested in caring for the oncology population
- Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills
- Skilled in interpersonal and patient education and satisfaction
