Distinctive Healthcare is currently seeking to hire Fulltime Registered Nurse- Family Helath to work at the military hospital at the (Hickam AFB) in (Hawaii).
Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare
professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality
and cost effectiveness. Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with
all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF. Perform physical exam and
health histories. Provide health promotions, counseling, and education. Administer medications,
wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions. Direct and supervise care provide by
other healthcare professionals. Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the
scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel. Recognize adverse signs and symptoms
and quickly react in emergency situations. Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of
people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education
to benefit the patient/family and organization
Qualifications:
5.2.1.3 Education. Shall be a graduate from an associate (ADN) or baccalaureate degree (BSN)
program in nursing accredited by a national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the US
Department of Education.
5.2.1.4 License. Maintain an active, valid, current, and unrestricted license (with no limitations,
stipulations or pending adverse actions) to practice nursing as a registered nurse in any US state/
jurisdiction.
5.2.1.5 Experience. A minimum of 3 years for ADN or 3 years for BSN full-time experience in
clinical nursing working with adults, children, families, seniors and groups. (Those with less than
3 years experience will still be considered.) Nurses with familiarity with the Military Healthcare
System and Electronic Health Record is desirable. Nurses with work experience with Tri-care,
AHLTA, CHCS, Military Health System Genesis systems preferred.
5.2.1.6 Certification. Certified Registered Nurse by Commission for American Nurses
Credentialing Center (ANCC) -OR- certification eligible with 3 years of experience for ADN or
2 years of experience for BSN in full time clinical nursing with children, families, seniors, or
