Registered Dental Hygienist Job at Magnolia Dentistry
Our growing dental practice is looking for a second Dental Hygienist to add to our amazing team. You should be reliable and able to build a trust with your patients, also to educate patients in their oral hygiene. Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 5:00pm. Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
- Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
- Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
- Outstanding communication skills
- Valid NC license to practice
