Stonebridge Companies is a privately owned, innovative hotel development and hospitality management company. We manage a portfolio of 53+ hotels across the United States, and provide investor opportunities, hotel development services, hotel management services, and hospitality career opportunities to our partners and team members. We are currently looking to add a Vice President of Hotel Operations to our corporate team based in Denver, CO

Essential Job Functions:
  • Responsible for ensuring that all hotel operations are carried out professionally, to Stonebridge and brand standards, and to the highest level of guest service.
  • Embodies Distinguished Hospitality™ and the Four Pillars of our mission statement that include Service, Relationships, Careers, and Results.
  • Acts as a dynamic, experienced, and motivated mentor to property General Managers and their management teams; as well as all line level team members.
  • Sets short-term and long-range goals in tandem with Executive Team and General Manager’s to aid and achieve each property’s defined performance metrics.
  • Ensures responsible financial management of assigned hotels always. In partnership with leadership team, develop annual budgets to accurately forecast financial performance and to deliver financial results in accordance with those budgets.
  • Drives guest satisfaction by maintaining product and service quality standards.
  • Performs periodic property inspections, ensuring completion of Brand and Company training programs and initiating corrective action as necessary.
  • Works collaboratively with corporate support departments, and ownership to build relationships and ensure effective, proactive communication with common end goals.
  • Oversees implementation of sales, revenue management, and marketing programs to achieve and exceed established RevPAR goals.
  • Critically analyzes all metrics (including but not limited to financial reports, GSS, STR, Quality Assurance Inspections, Financial Audits, Associate Opinion Surveys, Employee Turnover and Employee retention), assessing actual performance to defined benchmarks, identifying variances and initiating corrective action.
  • Champion of all Stonebridge Companies Standard Operations Procedures.
  • Cultivates industry and community networks to support recruiting initiatives and build team member pipeline for assigned portfolio.
  • Proactively provides coaching and mentoring to management staff in assigned portfolio including one on ones and completion of annual performance appraisal. Works with employees to ensure career path development and future growth.
  • Onboards and ensures training of any new General Management staff.
  • Ensures that all assigned assets are properly maintained and protected, and that life safety programs, PCI Compliance, and OSHA standards and practices are being enforced and followed.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required, MBA or master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in branded hotels is required. (Marriott and or Hilton experience required)
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive direct hotel Operations Management
  • Multi-property experience with diverse portfolios from Full Service, Limited Service and Extended Stay.
  • Proven Leadership skills
  • Business Acumen to include a solid understanding of business financials and Profit and Loss Statements.
  • Proven success in a similar role
  • Must be willing to travel to various portfolio locations on a regular basis.
  • Experience in the New York market is highly preferred.
  • PC proficiency to include (but not limited to) Microsoft Office applications
