Regional Maintenance Director

We are currently seeking a Regional Maintenance Director to join our team! Your job will be to oversee maintenance for all of TAM's multifamily properties. The successful candidate will be able to provide direction to onsite maintenance teams, assist in the due diligence process for proposed acquisitions, work closely with Regional Property Managers on special projects, including capital projects, and must be able to develop and oversee budgets.

Responsibilities:

• The Regional Maintenance Director works in conjunction with the Regional Managers to supervise and manage the quality of maintenance operations, staff development, and the financial results of each property.
• In addition, the Regional Maintenance Director will be responsible for supervising the organization of the maintenance shop, cleanliness, and inventory control and also to ensure that preventative maintenance programs are being followed
• On-site inspections will be conducted to verify TAM Residential standards are being upheld and policy and procedures are in place
• Work in conjunction with the Regional Managers and Property Managers for interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating all maintenance supervisors
• Will be immediately available to assist with any property emergency as requested such as fire, or weather emergency, as well as maintaining emergency planning

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance required
• Four-year college degree strongly preferred, but will also consider equivalent education and experience
• People and maintenance management experience required
• Must demonstrate a high level of organizational and leadership skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to travel to properties within portfolio

Benefits:

Associates who are regularly scheduled for and work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for company-sponsored benefits the 1st day of the month, following completion of 60 continuous days of employment. Regular, full-time associates are eligible to accrue paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
