Receptionist – Surgery Center
Envision Surgery Center is a new ambulatory surgery center in West Allis, WI which specializes in ophthalmology surgery. Our elite team is seeking a full-time Receptionist to work Monday – Thursday, occasional Friday mornings.
The essential duties for this position are:
- Greet patients and visitors
- Manages entire admitting process for patients
- Prepare waiting area for patients and visitors
- Print daily schedules
- Manage daily charts
- Answer phones
- Schedules surgeries and acts as a liaison between physician offices.
- Act as customer service rep and assist patients and their families during their wait
- Interacts appropriately and effectively with all patients/others regardless of age or ethnic background.
- Cross trained to fill in and perform all other job duties as appropriate.
- Communicate with other health care team members to assure continuity of care.
- Assists with the orientation of new personnel.
- Provide relief for front business office, receptionist and other business functions.
- Other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.

Compensation is competitive and will depend on the qualifications of the successful candidate. Benefits include a comprehensive health care plan, paid time off and a retirement plan.
