Responsible for supervising all aspects of the Purchasing, Receiving and Warehouse, areas ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, federal and state laws and policies, procedures and controls.. Responsible for developing, administering and directing departmental procedures to minimize potential loss to the Casino.


  • Coordinates and supervises the activities of all purchasing, warehouse and receiving employees on property.
  • Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as policies, procedures and controls which pertain to purchasing and receiving (including dry goods, paper products, chemical supplies, and maintenance items and food and beverage specifications).
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, assisting with career development, promoting, disciplining and terminating employees, as needed.
  • Ensures the integrity of all Purchasing, Receiving and Warehouse transactions.
  • Creates implements and monitors a computerized itemization of all goods and supplies received and stored on property.
  • Ensures all inventories are kept in an organized and logical manner.
  • Cooperates with accounting in the verification of orders received and inventory values.
  • Compiles statistical data for reporting purposes in the Purchasing and Receiving and Warehouse Divisions of the Finance Department..
  • Maintains all records, reports and other required paperwork for the Purchasing, Warehouse and Receiving Divisions of the Finance Department.
  • Performs counts of inventory at least monthly.
  • Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve disputes.
  • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all employees under his/her span of control.
  • Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
