Melissa Memorial Hospital is looking for someone to join our team as a Radiology Technologist. The ideal candidate provides high quality imaging procedures to our patients, consistent with the quality and expectations required of all radiology technologists. They will review imaging requisitions and exam forms to determine the type of exam that is required for each patient. They must be able to think critically in order to determine how to accurately position patients while determining exposure factors in order to obtain a high-quality image. The Radiology Technologist will also perform standard Radiographic exams with the use of a Digital Radiography and C-Arm. Willingness to enter the On-Call rotation once fully acclimated to General Radiology, and CT is required. We seek teammates who are caring, competent, change agile and results oriented. Minimum Qualifications:

• Required Skills*

• Ability to bend, pull, push and lift at least 150 pounds and walk or stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to operate all equipment and perform all tasks associated with this position.
• Utilizes safe body mechanics to ensure patient and caregiver safety.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.

• Required Experience*

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist R.T.(R) (ARRT) in good standing.
• Must be willing to complete 40 hours of mammography training and/or get certified in the future.
• Current CPR certification is required.
