Location: Westlake, Ohio

Pay: $21 per hour - $22 per hour

Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Description:

• Candidate may preform any number of the tasks below on a pilot line that creates prototype batteries for Energizer in their R&D department. may not be doing every task and could be specialized in a specific mfg process
• Measuring, collecting & analyzing data, and providing real time results and feedback to engineers.
• Mixing materials using industrial mixers.
• Compressing materials using hydraulic presses.
• Dispensing materials using hydraulic pumps.
• Assembling final products using various pieces of production equipment.
• Troubleshooting issues with machines and working with team members to resolve issues.
• Managing and performing tool and die change overs.
• Ensuring smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by taking an ownership mentality.
• Locating sources of problems by observation, locating and elevating causes of concern.
• Completing required paperwork, documenting parts and material usage.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1. Basic computer knowledge and navigation capability, must have experience with Microsoft office - word, excel, teams, and Outlook

2. MUST HAVE EITHER experience working in a laboratory, OR experience in a manufacturing industry dealing with small parts or chemicals (electronics, chemical, battery, or rubber manufacturing)

3. Experience or coursework related to chemistry, sciences, mathematics, prefer a candidate who has an associates or has done some college coursework in a STEM filed

5. MUST HAVE some knowledge of proper chemical handling safety procedures

6. BE open to wearing a respirator, and if they have a large beard they need to be open to trimming that
