Interacts and communicates in an effective and professional manner at all levels throughout the company- Understands and supports the purpose, objectives, practices, and procedures of the Quality Department
- Performs inspections on product types assigned
- Performs layout inspections with assistance and instruction
- Reads and comprehends simple drawings, customer purchase orders, specifications, procedures, work instructions, and other similar types of documentation
- Has applicable knowledge of Quality Documentation System requirements for retrieving and filing
- Accurately completes required documents
- Has the ability to use simple gauging, common inspection instruments, and equipment
- GED or High School Diploma
- Basic computer skills- use of Excel
- Ability to use calipers and scales, must be able to read a ruler
- General comprehension math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience within quality is helpful
- Background or previous experience with auditing is a plus
