Quality Control Specialist Job at US Ceramics
This position responsible for providing the day-to-day leadership for their area of assignment through monitoring of total production processes to ensure that safety, quality, production, and cost goals are met utilizing lean manufacturing practices. They ensure the delivery of quality product through efficient operation of the plant’s QA, production equipment and staff. They are responsible for supervising production and executing quality control systems, meeting production schedules, and ensuring that EHS practices and procedures are understood and practiced by all employees.
The QC Specialist is one of the organization's "first line leadership positions" having direct influence on delivering the operation's goals of safety, environment, quality, customer service, efficiency and costs through effective leadership of people. They work to be a change agent, driving behavior changes and building organizational capability throughout the production team. Specialists are expected to be hands on, fully understanding plant operations and be knowledgeable on all Production functions. They are to model the Organization’s Code of Conduct Policy, Values and Philosophy, and comply with all other corporate, plant, and regulatory policies and regulations as applicable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
