Quality Control Laboratory Summer Assistant Job at Streck, Inc
Job Description:
Streck is recruiting for a quality control assistant to join our quality laboratory team this summer. This position will work closely with our QC Instrument and QC Testing groups.
- Assist with running hematology and chemistry samples on automated instrumentation.
- Assist in gathering data for improvement initiatives within QC, including use of Excel for data analysis.
- Complete appropriate records and documentation legibly and in a timely manner.
- Assist with performing daily cleaning log tasks in the QC lab
Eligibility Requirements/Skills:
- At least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or college
- Ability to work 40 hours per week (8am to 4:30pm M-F) for the summer period.
- Interests in gaining laboratory or quality control experience
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
Work Schedule:
- 8 hour days – Monday through Friday 800am-430pm
Dress Code Requirements:
- Casual – Jeans and T-shirt
- Dedicated Shoes
