This role is responsible for in process and final inspecting of tanks for structural and visual consistency and accuracy per documented regulatory and internal procedural requirements.

• Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform internal/external product dimensional and cosmetic inspections and checks in accordance with product specifications
• Complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
• Utilization of inspection and test equipment

Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of quality control and welding processes
• Basic problem solving skills. Must follow all safety policies and procedures
• Must be able to read and follow detailed instructions; strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Knowledge of and adherence to the Worthington Industries Philosophy
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel) preferred
• Ablility to comprehend and retain an understanding of internal and regulatory requirements.
• Must be able to handle brief physical exertions and be able to stand for up to 8 hrs/day  Must be able to read drawings/blue prints and distinguish part numbers, components, fittings, etc.
• Must understand and follow the quality policy and procedures
• Must be able to use micrometers and calipers Education / Training Required
• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic
• Familiarity with API 12F, 12P and site QMS requirements

Physical Requirement-Must be able to stand on your feet 12 hours a day, climb a ladder to get in tanks, lift at least 50 pounds
