Crescent Brands is a leader in the manufacturing and marketing of high-quality paper and board products for artist, custom framers, and institutions worldwide. We are currently seeking a Quality Auditor to join the team at our Nielsen Moulding facility located in Gainesboro, TN. Nielsen Moulding is a leading producer in custom framing and aluminum extrusion.

SUMMARY

It is the responsibility of the Quality Auditor to perform the following duties with an emphasis on completing multiple tasks daily.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Completing quality inspection forms and reports
• Inspection of product visually and dimensionally
• Implement and participate in continuous improvement projects
• Perform Gauge R&R studies
• Train and use part dimensional gauges
• Verification and recording of quality production data
• Work closely with production and quality on document and data issues
• Following Nielsen Nonconforming Product Procedure
• Perform incoming inspection on product received for product made at Nielsen
• Use proper quality documentation
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Audit production processes, including finished goods
• Support Nielsen Quality Initiatives
• Maintain good communications to all levels of the organization
• Investigate quality issues
• Report on quality issues to Quality Manager and or Department Management
• Issue Quality Alerts
• Wear required personal protective equipment
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
• Other tasks as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a High School diploma, Candidate must be extremely detail oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Software, familiarity with MS access and data basing ability.
• Ability to use e-mail effectively.
• Knowledge and background in quality control processes

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are typical to standard office setting with moderate noise levels and high level of activity. The work will mostly be in a climate-controlled environment with occasional work in plant/manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and fumes. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
