Quality Assurance Analyst
Full Time Salaried Position
Remote Work within the Continental United States
Brandt Information Services, the leading provider of SaaS technology and marketing services for state wildlife and parks agencies, is paving the way to better communicate and serve the public through their journey to go camping, fishing, boating, hunting, or hiking on public land. At Brandt, we build and improve upon the customer journey for public users buying campground reservations, fishing and hunting licenses, boat registrations, educational event tickets, and the list goes on. State funds generated go back into conservation and outdoor recreation improvements.
The Quality Assurance Analyst is an integral scrum team member supporting the product manager with customer implementation and maintenance activities related to the scope of the scrum team by developing and executing functional test cases to ensure that the delivered solution meets project requirements and handles data in a predictable, error-free fashion (“Functional Scope”). This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and execute functional test scenarios and test utilizing user stories
  • Attend design meetings and document requirements sessions related to the Functional Scope
  • Provide customer production support related to Functional Scope
  • Adhere to Brandt's Software Development Life Cycle processes within assigned scrum team
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline (Candidates that are the equivalent of a junior or higher with anticipated bachelor's degree may apply)
  • 1+ years of manual QA testing experience strongly preferred
  • Some experience with SQL database strongly preferred
  • Some experience testing web-based applicational preferred
  • Ability to manage and effectively communicate time frames, expectations, and requirements
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to occasionally travel to Brandt offices and/or client sites with advance notice
  • Must reside and perform work duties within the continental United States
  • Must submit and pass Level II criminal background check pursuant to Brandt's contractional requirements with government agencies
Position Location:
This position may be full-time remote within the continental United States. Brandt has office locations in Tallahassee, Florida; Hunt Valley, Maryland and Denver, Colorado should the selected candidate live close to one of these locations and desire to work in an office-setting. The standard work hours for this position will follow Eastern Standard Time.
Compensation & Benefits:

  • An annual base salary of $50,000 - $60,000 determined by factors including but not limited to geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience
