As a Mechanical Engineer at Lutron, you will take ownership of high-stakes projects from day one. You will be a key part of the mechanical engineering team and grow your skills while developing innovative solutions. Your contributions will help to maintain our market position as the world leader in smart lighting and shading systems. By working in a collaborative environment, you will be exposed to, and trained by, industry experts who will aid in your professional development.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for many phases of the design process, including
Generating detailed designs for review- Conducting analysis through prototyping and testing
- Ensuring designs are suited for high-volume manufacturability
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and manufacturing of consumer products that will end up directly in the hands of our end users. There are a variety of teams throughout the product lifecycle that you could join from day one, including:
New product design and development- Existing product support
- Manufacturing and assembly process development
- Tooling and tester design
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science, or Physics
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0 for each degree earned
- 0-3 years’ experience in a related field
