Since 1931, Triangle Sign Services has been a leader in brand management and customer engagement. We currently employ 130 people across 12 locations and we are looking to add a Lighting Project Manager to our team!

The Lighting Project Manager is responsible for all phases of our Lighting Retrofit Services Turnkey project completion. This includes utilizing existing sub-contractor field partners and developing new sub-contractor field partner relationships in support of fulfilling end user Lighting Retrofit conversion requirements. The lighting project manager will provide critical expertise in product selection, procurement and installation of these lighting fixtures for all interior and exterior retrofit projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the sales team, procurement team, field partner sourcing team, field partners and product suppliers to coordinate and manage lighting retrofit projects.
  • Turnkey implementation in accordance with each client's requirements including: source, negotiate, and procure lighting providers and materials and other ancillary products as needed, using cost and quality comparisons to find the product best suited to the end user's needs.
  • Directly manage the distribution process of the selected products int he most cost effective and timely manner.
  • Manage all project related communications, supporting documents, scheduling and resources to meet project milestones and completion dates.
  • Manage lighting project work orders from start to finish.
  • Perform site audits.
  • Create and evaluate lighting designs within investment grade proposal.
  • Participate in or lead client conference calls and meetings.
  • Manage the project budget at or above required GPM guidelines.
  • Some onsite project pre-construction and kick-off meetings are required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the lighting supply chain process or similar experience within construction-specific distribution.
  • General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution and construction processes.
  • Ability to plan and see the "big picture."
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast-paced work environment with very tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and efficient.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
