We are looking for a Project Manager, Influencer Marketing to join our team!

Ketchum’s award-winning influencer marketing team is seeking a Project Manager to join us in managing inbound and existing influencer marketing campaigns for Fortune 500 leaders to energetic start-ups.

This role is responsible for managing timelines, deliverables, and projects across a variety of clients, while ensuring teams are implementing programs to our highest standards. You’ll work with Influence Team Senior Leadership on the project management of active programs, while also ensuring proper staff allocation across the Influence portfolio. You’ll need to be organized and able to understand where we can pull people in, based on their workload, and identify where additional support is needed on different clients.

Our desired candidate is diligent, organized, passionate, compassionate, and self-motivated – and direct with teams for the needs of the business. Experience across a variety of brand sectors, both B2C and B2B, is highly desirable. And agency experience is preferred.

About the Job

  • Act as primary point of contact for all inbound influencer program requests, keeping track of a 25+ team and the associated respective clients and projects that are currently being executed
  • Understands the health of the business, and where we need to adjust team members’ time, and identifies when additional net-new support is needed; continuously analyzing how team time is running and providing updated to Influence Team Senior Leadership as needed
  • Work closely with Influence Team Senior Leadership on the development of project kick-off documentation, including timeline for budget, workback, creative brief and influencer activations
  • Oversee the development and tracking of integrated project plans
  • Identify and manage project issues to successful resolution
  • Maintain processes to manage scope throughout the project lifecycle
  • Partner with Influence Leadership team to staff projects effectively
  • Manage third-party partner and/or vendor relationships, if necessary, including budget tools / invoicing process
  • Manages finance process including invoices processing, client invoicing and trackers, etc.
  • Clarify and communicate if the Influence Team is able to meet project objectives and success criteria, ensuring all parties are aligned on deliverables and expectations
  • Communicate with team members to ensure clear understanding of individual project roles and responsibilities, and ensure that team members are aligned with the hours they are allocated on an ongoing basis
  • Interface with internal teams, account teams and clients to manage expectations at the outset of any program execution, and be able to make “go/no-go” recommendations on new projects that come in
  • Alert appropriate individuals on internal, account and client teams to changes in schedule, scope, or potential risks

Qualifications

We’re looking for required skills, and they can come from any combination of education and experience. Diversity of thought and background are encouraged. Typical qualifications include:

  • 5-6 years’ experience specifically in project management, with background in influencer, social, digital, programming across multiple channels in B2B and B2C, within a media buying, advertising, creative, communications, marketing, or public relations environment
  • Strong understanding of the influencer marketing business, and associated timelines and needs to deliver with excellence
  • Deep skills in analysis – being able to look across the 25+ member team and understand clients that are running hot, vs. where resources can be allocated
  • Demonstrate knowledge and a passion for the influencer universe on all social channels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong technical background with advanced computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as well as independently
  • Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and handle a number of concurrent projects and tasks

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.
