Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Programmer Analyst to join our team. We provide computer and network engineering services with a focus on Communications and Networking technologies. Although best known for providing these services to the defense agencies, including the submarine and surface ship fleet, Predicate Logic also provides cost-effective commercial training and digital forensics services. SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret personnel security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the requirements, definition, design, development, testing and documentation of web applications.
  • Analyze web application requirements, code and documentation and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide leadership and support under the direction of a team lead for design, development, troubleshooting, testing and analysis of medium-scale software projects, usually involving military applications.
  • Interpret software requirements, design, code or documentation.
  • Understand the full software development life cycle including roles and responsibilities, workflow processes and toolsets.
  • Train and evaluate junior level programmers; provide informal support in implementing software design and development requirements.
  • Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.
  • Provide support in the development of the technical proposal and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.
  • Perform evaluations in the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of complex programs or systems.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Five (5) years of job-related experience or equivalent
  • Generate systems design patterns, using application architectural methodologies, and Web Service applications (Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), XML SOAP, UDDL).
  • Ability to use Object-Oriented Design/Analysis (OOD/OOA).
  • Ability to use several modern programming languages including C#, JavaScript within Azure and dot NET Framework, MS Windows Active Directory, and integrated software application programs.
  • Develop software using the principles of an Agile development methodology to include daily scrum meetings, development cycles, and scrum team roles and responsibilities.
  • Design software using MVP and/or MVC architectural patterns.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field AND

Programming and/or Security+ certification
