We are seeking a Program Manager to support the Federal Administration Administration’s (FAA) Technical Operation Services (AJW) support for Business, Financial, and Administrative Support (BFAS). AJW is part of the FAA’s Air Traffic Organization (ATO). AJW’s mission is to ensure a safe and efficient National Airspace System (NAS) through the effective management of air navigation services and infrastructure. The scope of AJW’s mission includes the integration, management, operation, maintenance, and modernization of the systems and services that comprise the NAS.

The primary objective is to support the fulfillment of AJW’s mission to integrate the support provided across multiple tasks to improve efficiency, communications, and collaboration – both across the contractor support staff and relative to their interaction with AJW.

Responsibilities:

Areas of focus are the following: Business Management, Financial Management; and Administrative Services. The selected Program Manager will apply broad experience and technical knowledge of assigned disciplines and specialties for each functional area.

Business Management Support

  • Provide business management support to AJW-managed program, projects, and contracts supporting all aspects of business management including the monitoring, tracking, and reporting of the financial performance of AJW-managed program, projects, and contracts.
  • Maintain proficiency with FAA financial applications including, but not limited to: Corporate Information Management Systems (CIMS); Budget Execution Tool (BET); Back- fill Overtime Management System (BOMS); Financial Management System (FMS); Staffing and Payroll System (SAPS); Regional Information System (REGIS); GovTrip; PRISM; Advanced Reporting System (ARS); DELPHI, and the Simplified Program Information Reporting and Evaluation (SPIRE) system.

Financial Management Support

  • Support all aspects of financial management involving the financial processes including budget formulation, presentation, execution, and tracking.
  • Maintain proficiency with FAA financial applications including, but not limited to: Budget Execution Tool (BET); Financial Management System (FMS); Staffing and Payroll System (SAPS); Regional Information System (REGIS); PRISM; Advanced Reporting System (ARS); and DELPHI.

Administrative Services

  • Provide professional administrative services support to AJW and programs and projects under the operational purview of AJW.
    • These functions may include but are not limited to: coordinating appointments and monitoring calendars for FAA Executives/Directors/Managers, processing correspondence, maintaining electronic office filing systems, and technical editing and documentation.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree, MBA preferred
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Experience:

  • 15 years of experience, financial management experience strongly preferred
  • 4+ years supporting FAA strongly preferred (or Railroad/Maritime) with integrating similar efforts
  • Due to government requirements, U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident is required for the position. Candidate must successfully pass a Public Trust security clearance
