Production Worker Job at Valley Packaging Industries, Inc.
Available Locations:
110 N. Kensington Drive, Appleton
- First shift: 7:45a to 4:15p (M-F)
- Second shift: 4:15p to 12:45a (M-F)
JOB SUMMARY:
Involves performing simple one or two-step packaging or assembly jobs. Although there is minimal demand for independent judgment or quality inspection, it does require the correct number of pieces or correct orientation within gross tolerances. Performs other duties as required.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION WORKER:
- Counting and inserting product into bag or box and placing on a conveyor.
- Removing production from a master carton and placing on a conveyor
- Collating product and placing in a container or onto a conveyor
- Attaching pieces together by the use of a hex wrench or screwdriver
- Gluing flaps or pockets of folders
- Applying labels to corrugate using adhesives.
$10/hour WITH ROOM FOR GROWTH and Full Benefit Package
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work performed is generally within the medium range as defined by the United States Department of Labor.
