The Production Wardrobe Stylist will report to the Studio Production Manager and will be required to work in our in-house studio within our headquarters in Winston-Salem, NC. Responsible for supporting the Creative Services group with sample preparation, and brand-right on-model styling, as well as still-life (laydowns, mannequin, ghost mannequins, etc.) styling to facilitate photography for all Hanesbrands Inc digital asset needs. In this role, you are passionate about producing high-caliber work that delivers against our brand style guidelines down to the smallest detail. Working with different teams, internal and external, to gather and prepare the necessary garments for photoshoots, whether executed in-house or with an external vendor.
Responsibilities:
  • Constantly manages work efforts to align with production timeline
  • Oversees all the sample prep (i.e steaming, styling, props, etc.) and makes sure everything is ready to go before needed on camera set
  • Works closely with in-house studio team, as well as Photography Managers to meet studio target dates, quotas, and anticipate challenges and actively problem solves
  • Works independently on ShotFlow horizontal and vertical equipment to deliver quality off-model digital assets
  • Identifies potential issues that may disrupt work schedules
  • Track shots/samples and inform the team of status via ShotFlow
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and push to ensure our digital assets are current and relevant
  • Coordinates looks, taking into account factors such as color, style, and the overall look Brand is trying to achieve
  • Arrange for alterations when necessary and oversee the process to ensure the garments fit properly
  • Shop for clothing/accessories, either online or in stores, keeping within the designed budget. May require managing returns as well.
  • Drive fittings with talent and brand/product team/merchandising representatives
  • Coordinating with hair and makeup stylists, talent, and others involved to ensure that the overall look is cohesive and appropriate
  • Log model specs and size for future use
  • Manage multiple projects at once and adjust plans as needed to accommodate last-minute changes
  • Comfortable with busy, repetitive workflow and being on feet for long periods of time
  • Assist with the movement of physical product through the studio
  • Travel as needed to external photoshoots
  • Other duties as identified and assigned
Qualifications:

  • A strong passion and knowledge of the fashion industry and trends
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Sound knowledge of project management/workflow technology; ShotFlow and StyleShoot preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and 3+ years of related experience. Experience in retail or merchandise planning preferred
  • Proficient with Mac computer platform/software
  • Working knowledge and experience with ShotFlow, Capture One, Workhorse
  • Highly proficient in computer skills and MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Able to stand and move around for long periods at a time
  • Must be able to move products through the studio environment – physical strength and able to lift 35 pounds regularly
